DOUBLE PERSPECTIVE™

LEGAL & TRANSPARENCY

Privacy Policy

Double Perspective does not operate its own system for collecting player profiles, gameplay telemetry or advertising identifiers. We do not sell your personal information or use it to track you across games or websites. Your game saves and preferences are kept on your device. Platform providers, advertising services in supported free Android editions, and our website host handle some information under their own policies, as explained below.

Games and services covered

This policy covers the Double Perspective website and these games, including their updates and the editions offered:

Zenith & Zero is covered here for Android and browser versions where offered. The Steam section below applies only to Umbral Purge. Listing an edition here does not mean it is already available for purchase.

What Double Perspective collects

Our games do not require a Double Perspective account. We do not run a player database or a gameplay analytics service, and the games do not send your saves, scores or play history to a Double Perspective server. A name entered for a local score stays with that local score; it is not an account registration.

If you choose to email us or send a bug report, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you provide. We use that information to respond and handle the request, not for advertising or mailing lists. Please do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information. Our email provider processes correspondence as part of delivering the service. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations, then delete it or remove identifying information.

Saves, settings and backups

The games store information needed to play, such as progress, puzzles in progress, local scores, statistics, unlocks, settings, language, music and appearance preferences. Installed versions use local app storage; browser versions use storage in your browser. Double Perspective does not receive this information automatically.

Android or another device backup service may back up eligible app data according to your settings. Any platform cloud feature, if enabled for an edition, is handled by that platform. If you export a progress file, you choose where to save or share it.

You can remove local data using the game's reset controls where available, Android's app-storage controls, or your browser's site-data controls. Uninstalling an app normally removes its local data, but copies in backups or exported files may remain; manage those separately through the relevant service or file location.

Free Android editions and Google AdMob

Supported free Android editions use Google's Mobile Ads SDK to display ads. Zenith & Zero games use banner ads only. Buying the optional Pro upgrade (a one-time Google Play purchase) turns ads off: once you own Pro, the game no longer requests or shows ads. Opening an external link may use your browser or another app.

Google's advertising SDK can automatically collect and share IP addresses, device and account identifiers (including advertising ID and app set ID where available), app/ad interactions and diagnostic information. Google uses these for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. This processing happens through Google's SDK even though Double Perspective does not maintain its own player-tracking system. Advertising services may provide us with ad-performance and revenue reports.

Where required, Google's consent flow presents choices before eligible ads are requested. Use the game's privacy/ad choices control where available to reopen the options required by Google. Device settings may also let you reset or delete your advertising ID. Development/test builds may use Google's test ad identifiers; this does not turn an advertising SDK into a guarantee of no data processing.

See Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure and Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Play purchases and services

Google Play handles Android store accounts, downloads, purchases, payments and refunds under Google's policies. Double Perspective does not receive your full card details. Google may make sales, order, technical and performance reports available to developers. These platform reports are separate from a Double Perspective gameplay-tracking system. For platform account, payment or store-data requests, use Google's account and support controls. The optional Pro upgrade in Zenith & Zero is a Google Play in-app purchase: Google processes the payment, and the game only receives confirmation that you own the upgrade (with a purchase token Google uses to verify it). This is stored on your device so Pro also works offline.

Steam — Umbral Purge only

The planned Steam edition of Umbral Purge uses Steam as its distribution platform. Valve operates Steam accounts, purchases, payments, downloads, updates and refunds. Steam may process account identifiers, device information and usage information under its own policy. If Steam achievements, statistics or cloud saves are enabled for the released edition, Valve also handles the data needed for those features.

You do not need a separate Double Perspective account. Double Perspective does not use Steam to build a separate player-tracking database. Steam may make sales and performance reports available to us, and information you publish in reviews, community posts or support requests may be visible to us and others. We do not receive your full card details from Steam. Manage Steam account data and any cloud data through Steam's controls. See the Valve Privacy Policy.

Website and browser versions

Our website has no Double Perspective user accounts, contact form, or analytics/tracking scripts. It is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub processes connection information, such as IP addresses and technical request information, to operate and secure its services. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Browser games and the site's language selector can save progress or preferences locally in your browser. The current browser banner areas are placeholders linking to our own games; they do not load a third-party advertising network. AdSense is not currently installed. We will update this policy before adding website advertising or new data-collection features. External links lead to services with their own policies.

Children

Our games are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through support correspondence. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
